We are recruiting: cold room technician (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
