Urgent requirement: garment presser (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Anson County, North Carolina. You will be based at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
