Canteen cook wanted in Leflore County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Leflore County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking On the job you will handle: • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Six days a week, one day off.
