Domestic gas engineer • Erie County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Erie County, Ohio. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration On a typical shift you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
