We are recruiting: brick and block layer (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Boyd County, Kentucky. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) You will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts.
