Reinforcement fitter wanted in Bertie County

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Bertie County, North Carolina. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
