Fabricator-welder wanted in Marshall County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Marshall County, Illinois. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time, day shift. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
