Cnc turning machinist — City of Williamsburg

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. The role involves run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
