We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Brown County, Illinois. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. Day to day you will erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. Requirements: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
