Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Lawrence County, South Dakota. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
