Gas pipe fitter wanted in Bay County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Bay County, Florida. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites Rotating shifts.
