Immediate opening: skimming plasterer (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Lee County, Mississippi. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Rotating shifts.
