We are recruiting: tiling assistant (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. On a typical shift you will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges. What we are looking for: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Full-time with occasional weekends.
