Dry lining plasterer — Yancey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Yancey County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Day-to-day duties: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Performance bonus on top of base pay.
