Slinger signaller — City of Saint Louis

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in City of Saint Louis, Missouri. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
