Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
