The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
