Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Cherokee County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise On the job you will handle: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
