Heavy equipment operator wanted in Lumpkin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Lumpkin County, Georgia. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. On the job you will handle: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Part-time with flexible hours.
