Banksman wanted in Dearborn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Dearborn County, Indiana. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
