Security officer — Bath and North East Somerset

We are recruiting: we are hiring a security officer in Bath and North East Somerset, England. You will work in a CCTV control room. The role involves operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register. What we are looking for: • Alert, disciplined and punctual • Basic reading of English and local language for registers Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
