Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Jefferson County, Nebraska. You will work in a refurbishment property. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Day-to-day duties: • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Full-time, day shift.
