Skimming plasterer wanted in Bastrop County

Now hiring: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Bastrop County, Texas. The job is in a refurbishment property. Your main tasks: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
