Gas meter installer • Chicot County, Arkansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Chicot County, Arkansas. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. The role involves: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
