Vacancy available: port container crane operator (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Raleigh County, West Virginia. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Rotating shifts.
