Urgent requirement: metal caster (Yobe State)

Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Yusufari, Yobe State. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦12,000 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
