Gas service engineer wanted in City of Norton

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in City of Norton, Virginia. You will work at a busy gas installation company. Your main tasks: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time with occasional weekends.
