Rebar fixer — Kaufman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Kaufman County, Texas. You will work on a busy residential building site. The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 1+ years on the tools preferred.
