Vacancy available: pipe tig welder (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Muscogee County, Georgia. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
