Domestic gas engineer • Maiyama, Kebbi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Maiyama, Kebbi State. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches ₦95,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
