Great opportunity: pipe TIG welder (Nevada)

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Lyon County, Nevada. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
