Urgent requirement: glass and glazing technician (Alabama)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in DeKalb County, Alabama. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. Day-to-day duties: • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders Requirements: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Own basic hand tools an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
