Horticulturist — Northumberland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a landscaping company. Day to day you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
