Fettler — Big Horn County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Big Horn County, Montana. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time with occasional weekends.
