Urgent requirement: sample machinist (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in County of Flintshire, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
