We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Shawano County, Wisconsin. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
