We are recruiting: cnc lathe operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Livingston County, New York. The job is in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Full-time with occasional weekends.
