Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Alcorn County, Mississippi. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
