Great opportunity: we are hiring a captain waiter in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy restaurant. On a typical shift you will coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
