Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. On the job you will handle: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time, day shift.
