Articulated lorry driver — Contra Costa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Contra Costa County, California. On a typical shift you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; report defects and book the unit in for servicing. You should have: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
