Concrete pump mate • Spencer County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Spencer County, Indiana. You will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
