AC mechanic • Newport County, Rhode Island

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Newport County, Rhode Island. Day to day you will clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes. What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
