Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Linn County, Iowa. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
