Semi-automatic welder wanted in Butler County

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Butler County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 3+ years on the tools preferred.
