Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
