Sheet metal welder wanted in Madison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Madison County, Virginia. The job is on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time, day shift.
