Falsework carpenter — City of Danville

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in City of Danville, Virginia. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
