Aluminium workshop fabricator wanted in North Tyneside

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium workshop fabricator in North Tyneside, England. The job is at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Share your details and we will call you back.
