Hand presser — Shagamu

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Shagamu, Ogun State. The job is in a busy laundry. The role involves: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
